Tara Donavon

Exploring texture again for my restaurant project my classmate introduced me to here Friend whose work i feel i have seen before on an Anthropolgie inspiration board!!! just heavenly. you could be looking through a microscope, from an airplane or at any natural rock or coral formation. I love it.

Textured wall installations

While working on a recent restaurant interior project i have become so interested in wall textures, and found this that creates these porcelain tiles. She installs them in random configurations. Almost like barnacles, i love the repetition of the simple forms and different tones of the same color.

Maps by Nigel Peake

Documenting small time adventures and excursions within a mile radius from his home. From train rides facing backwards, to crammed bus rides in tiny hill-top towns, to bike rides through the backyards of Europe. The vast, unyielding concrete miles of Shanghai, to the paths between mountains and forests in late night French countryside Nigel records it all in this beautiful craft book.

The mobile art market

Thinking of creating a similar thing to go to the Oakland art murmur.
