Missing Home

With the royal wedding coming up I have been looking through my photos from my last trip home and i miss the old buildings as soft country colors. Oh! for a 'pims cup' on the river!

Slide Ranch.

Came across this beautiful farm on a drive up the coast this week, what a place to learn about the great outdoors!!! They have a harvest festival coming up. I will be helping the kids with crafts!!!

TCHO chocolate tasting.

Tcho are the only chocolate to be main in San Fransisco proper and the only chocolate company on a pier!(17). They have a great tour 10:30 and 2pm with a bounty of great samples and grab a Blue Bottle Mocha on the way out.... pretty much the start of a perfect day in the city!

A great place for a rainy day....

OMG! just had a lecture on library design and i had no idea how stunning the Seattle library was! you circulate in a spiral all the way to the top, and instead of having to walk around the block it invites you to walk in under the building. what an amazing space to read!!!! well a great place for a rainy day!

Winged Victory

Angels on horseback ride to earth at Anchor & Hope. in the financial district, SF. I finally made it to the happy hour yesterday. and oh my, between the ships in a bottle ropes hanging from the ceiling and these delicate Blue point oysters wrapped in bacon the 'angels on horseback' part. What a place indeed! can't wait to go back for a full meal. Cast off!

This amazing installation at the Tate modern in London is amazing, but as usual, with anything experimental it has been closed amid fears of people breathing in the ceramic dust,it will be the latest of a number of such headaches with interactive art in the Tate Modern's Turbine Hall. There was nervousness in 2006 when people slid down Carsten Höller's 24m slides, and a year later concern over Doris Salcedo's 167m crack in the floor led to signs being put up urging visitors to be careful.

Kings speech peeling wall paper

I was just going to post a picture of the back wall in Logues (the speech therapists office) i had just not quite go to it! when my Collage mate also sent me a link to a set design article!!! great mind think alike!!!! i just haven't been able to stop thinking about it since and have told everyone i know to go see the movie.... mainly for the peeling wall!!!!!!! the acting's not bad ether. So here you go, 2 shots and one of my own, just sit back enjoy and pretend you own an old historic apartment in Europe, like i do every day!
